Silicon Valley Homeless Camp Torn Down

Great way to show off your humanity California! By moving the homeless from a camp that has been inhabited by some of the most vulnerable humans in San Jose. But hey, real estate is high and money talks. So why not evict the homeless? As it turns out this camp housed over thee hundred souls before it was shut down, so where are these people supposed to go? And even more humanity surfaces when we realize they were given two days to vacate.
 Way to go America...

Amazing. 100 year old woman sees ocean for the first time

Ruby Holt spent most of her 100 years on a farm in rural Tennessee, picking cotton and raising four children. She never had the time or money to go to a beach.

That changed this month, just a few weeks shy of Holt's 101st birthday.

Thanks to a partnership between the assisted living center where Holt lives and an organization that grants wishes to the elderly, Holt got to see the ocean for the first time during an all-expenses-paid trip to the Gulf of Mexico.
